Weston Engineering, Inc. (WESTON) was established in 1978 to provide groundwater engineering services to the coal and uranium mining industries in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. Since its inception, WESTON has been recognized for its expertise and service in groundwater engineering. WESTON provides these services to other consulting engineering firms, municipalities, and industrial concerns throughout the northwestern United States. Today, our company is proud to continue strengthening our working relationships with clients both new and old.
WESTON differs from other groundwater engineering consulting firms in the Rocky Mountain area in these areas:
WESTON owns and operates four drilling rigs with depth capabilities up to 5,000 feet.
WESTON is also licensed as a water well drilling contractor in the States, of Utah and South Dakota.
WESTON owns and operates a pumping equipment design, sales and service business.
WESTON serves as a State of Wyoming certified operator for several small community water and wastewater systems.
Because of WESTON’s expertise in groundwater engineering, well servicing and rehabilitation, and the operation and maintenance of small water and wastewater systems, much of our work is completed for other engineering and geotechnical consulting firms in Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain region. WESTON maintains its drilling and pumping equipment and controls design center in Upton, Wyoming. The Laramie, Wyoming office concentrates on groundwater-related planning, resource development, engineering, geology, and geochemistry, as well as environmental research and permitting, and environmental site assessments.
